The most unstable application on my Mac: Firefox

Is it just me or Firefox is the most unstable mainstream application available for the Macintosh platform? I have to quit and reload it at least twice a day because it hogs resources until the system isn’t responsive anymore. From now on I will resume using Safari for everything but JavaScript debugging.

Sameplace 0.6.0

Massimiliano Mirra, aka bard, is an elite coder. You know, one of those who can do twice what you can do in half the time. He spends lots of his energies working on SamePlace, a firefox plugin that opens the door to realtime shared web applications.

I will sooner or later write an in-depth post about SamePlace, which is a part of my daily workflow I couldn’t live without, but right now I just wanted to be sure you knew that SamePlace 0.6.0 has been released.

There’s no better reason to try a software product than when a new version is released, so go and try it, you won’t regret it :)

If you do, and you want to contact me, my jabber id is intinig [at] gmail [dot] com
